Fundamentación: Teniendo en cuenta la acotada carga horaria que tiene la Metodología de la Investigación en el Plan de Estudios de la Licenciatura en Relaciones del Trabajo, esta materia intentará suplir razonablemente dicha carencia. Se priorizarán aquellos aspectos que remplacenla falta de la praxis investigativa, y se hará especial hincapié en articular/acercar la experiencia de la investigación académica del mundo laboral. El presente curso se desarrollará en base a dos ejes paradigmáticos, que a su vez fundamentan las estrategias metodológicas y sus correspondientes técnicas: cuantitativo y cualitativo. Si bien ambos planteamientos pueden ser perfectamente complementarios a través de las técnicas de triangulación, por lo menos a nivel metodológico, su discriminación resulta un buen recurso didáctico. En lo que respecta al enfoque cuantitativo, el estudiante de Relaciones del Trabajo cuenta ya al cursar esta asignatura con el auxilio de un herramental estadístico básico, lo cual facilitará sin duda una parte importante del programa sobre todo la referida al muestreo y al análisis de datos. En cuanto a la parte cualitativa, el manejo de estrategias y técnicas vinculadas íntimamente con ciertos abordajes teóricos tales como la Fenomenología, el Interaccionismo Simbólico, la Etnografìa, la Etnometodología, la Hermenéutica, la Grounded Theory, la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales entre otros exigirán seguramente un mayor esfuerzo y compenetración, dado el perfil curricular propio de la Carrera. Otro tema de importancia lo constituye la evaluación, cuya importancia en el ámbito laboral resulta incuestionable.
Objetivo General
Lograr que el futuro Licenciado en Relaciones del Trabajo valore la importancia de la tarea de investigación o, dicho en otros términos, de la producción de conocimiento científico como un aspecto intrínseco y central de su formación académico-universitaria.

Que el estudiante
- adquiera conocimientos sobre la lógica de la investigación social.
- conozca técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas para el proceso de diseño, instrumentación, y análisis de datos de las investigaciones en el campo laboral.

Metodología de trabajo:
Para aprobar la materia habrá dos instancias para cumplimentar:
- La asistencia obligatoria a una comisión de Trabajos Prácticos como se viene dando habitualmente. Con asistencia obligatoria del 75% y con la aprobación de dos parciales individuales, presenciales. Se podrá recuperar un parcial para conservar la calidad de alumno regular.
Pero además para conservar la calidad de alumno regular se anexa un segundo requisito
- La asistencia obligatoria al 50% de las clases teóricas que se darán los días lunes de 19 a 21 horas.
- Se tomará asistencia

1. Lunes de 19 a 21 horas.
Clases de Trabajos Pràcticos
Lunes 17 a 19 horas Lic. Marisol Quintans (Comisión 1)
Miércoles 19 a 21 horas Lic. Rafael Abou (Comisión 4)

Evaluación :
Promoción directa con 2 exámenes parciales con nota de 7 ó más en cada uno, más cumplimiento de trabajos especiales con nota de 7 ó más.
Examen recuperatorio para uno sólo de los parciales, a fin de poder conservar la condición de alumno regular para poder rendir examen final.
Los que obtuvieron en ambos parciales notas entre 4 y 6 darán examen final oral.
El Docente de Prácticos ajustará la nota de cada uno de los parciales en la nota final, de acuerdo con la participación del estudiante en clase y al cumplimiento de las lecturas obligatorias y de los trabajos especiales encomendados en cada oportunidad.
El tener promedio 7 en los dos parciales no garantiza de por sí la promoción sin examen final. Para acceder a esta última es necesario obtener 7 o más puntos en cada uno de los dos parciales .
La no asistencia al 50% de las Clases Teóricas impedirá la promoción directa, aún habiendo obtenido una calificación de 7 (siete) puntos en las comisiones de Trabajos Prácticos.
